At least three people have died and 12 others were injured after a Ukrainian drone attack in Ryazan, Russian authorities say.
The governor of the region, Pavel Malkov, announced via Telegram that two high-rise apartment buildings were hit during the raid, resulting in casualties and injuries, including children.
“Tragically, three people were killed and twelve were injured,”
The attack came hours after large-scale Russian strikes on Kiev and surrounding areas, where – according to Ukrainian authorities – 21 people died and dozens more were injured.
The two sides returned to mutual attacks after the end of a three-day ceasefire announced at the US initiative to mark the commemoration of the end of World War II in Europe.
Both Russia and Ukraine have accused each other of violating the temporary ceasefire, while hostilities continue unabated.
