Christina Labiri described the most difficult period of her professional life in the show “She came and tied”, revealing what led her to move away from television. As she said, the pressuring collaborations and the toxic environment deeply affected her psychology, even leading her to panic attacks.

The presenter described the difficult conditions she experienced in the last few years of her career, stressing that the work environment played a crucial role. “Working in television is soul destroying when you are not helped by the conditions and the environment, just like any toxic environment is soul destroying in any job. All the years I did it with the same love, the same intensity and the same giving, and the adrenaline pumping, I was a healthy person.

When the circumstances around me changed and I wasn’t doing very well with my partnerships, not with the competition, the competition always pushed me in a positive way, it’s very important to have good partners. I didn’t do very well in the last few years in terms of partnerships and that psychologically broke me down,” he said.

As she later revealed, the pressure directly affected her health. “I remember that in the last few years before I stopped between 2016-2018, it was terribly difficult for me to travel, to get on a plane, in an elevator, anywhere. I was having terrible panic attacks and on one of our flights, to Kavala, the whole time, I was lying face down so I couldn’t see and with headphones on so I couldn’t hear. This all came from the pressure at work,” he said.

In closing, Christina Labiri admitted she had lost her balance. “I could tell I was not doing well. Apart from the panic attacks, I was getting angry very easily, no one could talk to me, I had lost my smile, it wasn’t me. I was having a bad time. I was miserable. It showed on my face,” he said.
