The arrest of a foreigner for drugs was made by police officers of the Rapid Police Team of the Police Department of Chania and the Department of Narcotics of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Department of Chania.
According to the Police, after evaluating information, police officers last Tuesday afternoon (10.03.2026) spotted the 41-year-old driving a rented private car in Chania and immobilized him. In a check that followed in the vehicle, found and seized a small amount of cocaine, and then in a search at his home, found and seized a total of 143 grams of cocaine, scales and mobile phones. The preliminary investigation is carried out by the Department of Narcotics of the Sub-Directorate for the Prosecution and Detection of Crimes Chania.
