Tragic development in the traffic accident at dawn on Thursday 12/3 on the coastal Poseidonos Avenue at the height of Voula.
Specifically, the 58-year-old taxi driver who collided sideways with a car, ended up in the hospital where she was taken seriously injured.
The accident occurred after midnight at the junction of the coastal avenue with Varis-Koropiou Avenue, at the height of Voula, where a taxi collided sideways with a private car.
The collision was such that parts of both vehicles were ejected 20 metres away.
Two fire brigade vehicles with 4 firefighters operated at the scene and extricated the two drivers from the vehicles.
The injured were taken by ambulance to the Voula Asclepion Hospital, the 58-year-old woman seriously injured and the 24-year-old with minor injuries.
Soon afterwards, the taxi driver succumbed to her serious injuries.
The traffic police investigating team has been tasked with investigating the exact circumstances under which the crash occurred.
