‘All parties involved should work in the same direction and “create conditions for the launch of truly meaningful and sincere peace talks,” a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman said today when asked if China is aware of any ongoing negotiations between Iran and the US.
“The pressing priority is to actively promote peace talks, seize the opportunity for peace and promote the end of the war,” Lin Jian, a spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry, said during a regular press briefing.
‘Call for an end to the US-Israel-Iran war’ was also made by a spokesman for the Chinese Defense Ministry.
China has called for efforts to end the conflict through dialogue and avoid escalation, ministry spokesman Jiang Bin said during a regular press conference in Beijing.
