On another Saturday night, a new episode of J2US with Nikos Koklonis started through the OPEN program. In fact, this week, Nikos Mouratidis sat in the guest judge’s chair.

The well-known radio producer and author, however, was destined to… mix up the roles in a pair and mistake the contestant for a coach and the coach for a contestant.

Specifically, when Mary Vytinaros and Steve Provis completed their new stage effort, Nikos Mouratidis took the floor to offer his own critique of the pair.

“Can I tell you, Steve, in rehearsals, how is Mary?” the radio producer initially asked, only for the young singer to respond, humorously, “she’s the coach, actually” and for a brief, albeit peculiar, rant to ensue between them.

N.M.:Yeah, how is it?

S.P.: She’s very, very strong. Very, very strong.

N.M.:I mean, does she normally advise you?

S.P.: Normally.

N.M.:Good.

“I want to learn, I want to rehearse,” Mary Vytinaros was then quick to point out, only for her partner to add, “Yes, she’s there. She asks too much. She gives her 100%.

“Mary, you were very, very good and I don’t think you have to consume what Amy Winehouse has consumed to sing that song. You sang it just fine. I was very pleased with both of you and well done,” Nikos Mouratidis then underlined to be informed of the charming couple’s roles.

“Oh, I didn’t know Mary was a coach!” exclaimed the J2US guest judge, only for Nikos Coclonis to explain that “Mary is not the coach, Steve is the coach.”

“That’s success” pointed out, with a smile, Stece Provis with Nikos Mouratidis stating… “hey, you watch out I don’t come up there and kick your ass”.
