A tanker anchored somewhere 23 nautical miles (42 kilometers plus) from Fujira, United Arab Emirates, was hit by a missile of unknown type.

The strike caused damage but did not injure any of the crew members, the UKMTO, a maritime safety agency under the British armed forces, said in the early hours of this morning.

According to the same source, there was no environmental impact.
