Sending immigration enforcement (ICE) agents to US airports if the impasse over funding for their security continues, US President Donald Trump is considering.
As glossed over today (21.03.2026) Saturday, Donald Trump has threatened to deploy federal immigration agents to US airports if Democrats in Congress do not immediately agree to funding security at the country’s airports.
“I will move our awesome and patriotic ICE Agents to Airports where they will do Security like no one else has ever done before,” Trump wrote in a post on the Truth Social platform.
