Panathinaikos AKTOR’s cycle with Ergin Ataman has come to an end, as the Turkish coach is leaving after three years on the team’s bench.
Ataman took over in the summer of 2023 and during his tenure led Panathinaikos to significant successes, including one Greek championship, two Greek Cups, and one EuroLeague title.
His final season did not yield the same titles, as the team was limited to winning the Greek Cup, failing to replicate the success of previous years.
The club bid farewell to the Turkish coach with a video and the message “Thank you, Ergin,” thus officially bringing to a close a three-year partnership marked by titles and memorable moments.
