The fire that broke out this morning at an auto parts store in Menidi has been brought under control.

According to the Fire Department, the fire broke out around 9:30 a.m. at a store on Ionias Street in the Municipality of Acharnes without spreading to adjacent buildings; however, the store was completely destroyed.

Meanwhile, the store owner was transported by private vehicle, accompanied by a relative, to a private clinic, as he suffered minor burns.

Eighteen firefighters with six vehicles responded to the scene, while water tankers from local authorities provided assistance.
