Peggy Zina spoke on camera for OPEN’s “Rendezvous on the Weekend” show, with Lambros Konstantaras and Ioanna Maleskou, revealing her thoughts on both a possible return to television and the possibility of her getting involved in politics.
The popular singer made it clear from the start that she would be interested in participating in a television project only if it relates to music or news about the artistic world.
“For you to see me on TV again, it would have to be something related to music or an informative program about people in my field. But not as a judge. Never again,” she stated emphatically.
At the same time, she didn’t rule out the possibility of hosting a show, provided its content resonated with her. “If I liked the concept, I would host a show. Why not? It’s, however, something quite far off for me right now. I love television, but as a viewer,” she stated.
As for politics, Peggy Zina emphasized that she has not accepted an offer from any party and explained why she would not choose to enter politics.
“I haven’t received any offers to run for office with a political party. I couldn’t do it, because when you belong to a faction or a group, many times, without meaning to, you end up fostering division,” she noted.
