A senior U.S. official noted today that the agreement being discussed with Iran “includes Lebanon” expressing optimism that the final outcome of the negotiations will also be acceptable to Israel and the Gulf states
Regarding possible reservations on the Iranian side, the official assessed that these are “rather minimal,” judging that there is “broad consensus” in favor of the agreement in Tehran, as well as within the ranks of the Revolutionary Guards, among the “hardliners,” and among the “political authorities.”
