Dimitris Alexandrou attended a social event on Thursday evening and, among other things, spoke about his stance on social media, as well as his personal life.
As he noted, he believes that exposure through social media today is not particularly different from that offered by television cameras. For this reason, he chooses to share only what he deems necessary, keeping part of his personal life shielded from public view. At the same time, he explained that his selective presence in the media is a conscious choice, as he cannot predict the questions he might be asked and prefers to set the limits of his own exposure.
Referring to his partner, Ria Ellinidou, and her song “Safari,” he admitted that this particular musical style does not align with his personal preferences. However, he noted that even the singer herself acknowledges that this is an artistic choice in line with contemporary musical trends and market demands, where songs with immediate appeal and easier consumption by the public are often preferred.
