Seventy-year-old woman died after a serious traffic accident, which occurred shortly after 9 am on the Thessaloniki-Athens highway, at the tollgate of Malgara.
According to preliminary information and under as yet unknown circumstances, I.X. car collided with a truck, resulting in the death of the 70-year-old woman and injuries to her husband.
The woman was taken by ambulance to the hospital “Papageorgiou” in Thessaloniki. where she died a few hours later, while the husband is slightly injured. The man has an upper limb wound, but will remain in hospital for treatment.
