A video of his visit to the Health Center of Argos Orestiko was published by Adonis Georgiades, commenting on the mobilizations that took place during his presence in the region.

The Health Minister claimed that despite being labelled an “unwanted person” by protesters, participation in the protests was limited, stating that only six people gathered.

He noted in his post that the protesters complained about shortages of medical staff, however, he claimed that when he invited them to visit the facility and inquire about staffing, they walked out.

The Minister combined his visit with the inauguration of the renovated Health Centre in Argos Orestiko and the new Emergency Departments at the Kastoria Hospital, stressing that interventions in the National Health System will continue.

“We are moving forward for the best NHS ever,” he said in his post, while criticizing opposition parties for their attitude towards government initiatives in the health sector.
