A 60-year-old man was fatally stabbed by his friend yesterday shortly after 8pm in Rhodes.
According to the first information gathered by the competent authorities, the crime took place in the village of Kalithies in Rhodes. Police forces and ambulance rescuers arrived at the scene and confirmed the death of one man.
The perpetrator and victim were friends, were experiencing psychological problems and the motives for the tragedy remain unknown. An investigation is being conducted by officers of the Rhodes Security Sub-Directorate.
The 55-year-old has reportedly been arrested as he is accused of fatally injuring his 63-year-old roommate.
