SYRIZA wants Strabo’s quote “Esti men oyn Eλλάς kaι ι the Macedonia” citing a violation of the Prespa Agreement, as revealed in a post on X by the Minister of Migration and Asylum, Thanos Plevris.

The Minister’s post on X:

“@syriza_gr’s MPs have tabled a question calling the inscription on a public building of Strabo’s quote “Esti men oun un E Greece kai the Macedonia” and its translation into English “Macedonia, of course, is a part of Greece”. In addition to the ceding of nationality and language that SYRIZA voted for, it is now calling for the censorship of ancient texts.
