An accident involving a minor occurred shortly before midnight on the Thessaloniki – Nea Michaniona road
According to initial information, the minor attempted to cross the roadway, at the height of Peraia, when she was swept away by a passing private car driven by a 38-year-old man. The 15-year-old girl was seriously injured and was taken by ambulance to the Hippocrates Hospital, where she is being treated.
The driver of the vehicle was arrested, while the competent police authorities are conducting a preliminary investigation into the exact causes and circumstances of the accident.
