The current ceasefire between Iran and the United States is unquestionably a ceasefire on all fronts, including Lebanon, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said via X a few hours after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that he had ordered the Chahal to attack a Hezbollah stronghold in the southern districts of Beirut.

“Violation of the ceasefire on one front is a violation of the ceasefire on all fronts. The US and Israel are responsible for the consequences of this violation,” the Iranian diplomatic chief warns.

A warning to the US was issued earlier today via X by Mohammad Bayr Galibaf, head of the Iranian negotiating team in the talks with Washington and re-elected speaker of the Iranian parliament, directly accusing Washington of undermining the process of exiting the crisis: “The US naval blockade and Israel’s escalation of war crimes in Lebanon are clear evidence of the US failure to observe the ceasefire.”

“Every choice has its price and the bill comes at the end. Everything will be settled,” the Iranian official wrote in a threatening tone.
