Olympiacos defeated AEK 95-68 with characteristic ease at the SUNEL Arena, made it 2-0 in the semifinal series and secured its qualification to the Stoiximan Greek Basketball League Finals.

Giorgos Bartzokas’ team dominated from the first minutes of the game and left no room for reaction to Union, despite the significant absences of Tyler Dorsey, Evan Fournier and Tyrick Jones.

Sasha Vezenkov, Nikola Milutinov and Doda Hall were big stars for the Reds. Vezenkov set the pace early on, already scoring 12 points in the first quarter, while Milutinov dominated under the basket, taking advantage of AEK’s problems in the paint.

Olympiacos led by double digits from the first quarter (10-20), closed the half at +14 (30-44) and even increased the difference to 20 points in the third quarter, turning the rest of the game into a standard procedure.

From the AEK side, Greg Brown and James Nunally tried to keep Dragan Sakota’s team competitive, who were without Kishon Fizel and lost Vassilis Charalampopoulos during the game.

The quarters: 10-20, 30-44, 46-66, 68-95.

With this victory, Olympiacos qualified for the championship finals, where it will face Panathinaikos AKTOR, having home court advantage. The first game of the series is scheduled for Wednesday, June 3.
