U.S. President Donald Trump said today that he is preparing to make his “final decision” on a possible deal with Iran.
“I will now have a meeting in the Situation Room of the White House to make a final decision,” the US President wrote on Truth Social.
In his post, he listed the commitments Iran must make and the points he takes for granted for a possible deal.
“Iran must agree that it will never acquire nuclear weapons. The Strait of Hormuz must be opened immediately” and Tehran must commit to complete disarmament of the Strait, Trump said.
The enriched uranium “will be dug up by the US (…) in close coordination with the Islamic Republic of Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency and destroyed,” the US president added.
“There will be no exchange of money until further notice,” he continued, while saying “other, much smaller issues have been resolved,” he assured.
