A 12-year-old primary school pupil has been taken to Corfu hospital following a vicious attack by classmates.
The incident was reported by the father of the 12-year-old student from Corfu, stating that he was brutally physically attacked by his classmates in the school environment, resulting in injuries.
The incident happened last Monday (25.05.2026) with police having begun investigations.
The student’s health is improving, doctors appear reassuring and he is reportedly due to be discharged today.
It is also reported that the 12-year-old’s father has filed a complaint against both the teachers and the parents of the other children. The school’s principal and vice principal were arrested as part of the self-initiated procedure, but were released shortly afterwards on the verbal order of the public prosecutor.
