A serious traffic accident occurred on Thursday afternoon (28 May) on Petrou Rallis Street, near the area of Rouf, when a private car veered off course and crashed at high speed into a pillar. The exact causes of the accident remain unknown so far and are being investigated by the competent authorities.
According to initial reports, the driver suffered serious injuries.
Police forces and an ambulance of the ambulance service were immediately mobilised to the scene, with the injured man being taken to hospital for treatment.
