Following the waking process that began yesterday, about five days after she was admitted to the Pagni Children’s ICU, the 3-year-old girl from Chania who was allegedly abused was decannulated and is now breathing without mechanical support.
The health condition of the child, who is hospitalized with a brain haematoma and body injuries, is described as stable.
According to Pagni’s commander, Mr. Chalkiadakis, this development is considered very positive, while the child is still under close medical supervision.
