The arrest of a 30-year-old woman accused of selling and distributing counterfeit goods and forgery was made yesterday in Heraklion by police officers of the Heraklion Sub-Directorate for the Investigation and Detection of Crimes and members of the Heraklion Police Department.A.D.E./ Investigation and Public Revenue Protection Service of Heraklion. Her arrest was made in the context of actions to combat the sale and distribution of counterfeit goods and more specifically during the inspection of a business owned by a 49-year-old man who was absent, but inside the store, the 30-year-old woman was in temporary charge.

According to the police, during the inspection it was found that 541 clothing products were being sold, which were counterfeit and bore fake trademarks resembling trademarks of well-known companies, which were seized.

The preliminary investigation is being carried out by the Sub-Directorate for the Prosecution and Detection of Crimes of Heraklion.
