A 50-year-old man ended up in hospital after an incident that occurred yesterday morning in an apartment in the area of Charilaou, in Thessaloniki, when – according to a complaint – he sexually assaulted the partner of a 29-year-old man.
According to police sources, the incident occurred when a couple – a 33-year-old woman and her 29-year-old partner, both of Bulgarian origin – visited the home of the 50-year-old man, who is originally from Albania. It was reported that at the moment the 33-year-old woman headed for the bathroom, the 50-year-old man followed her and sexually assaulted her.
The 29-year-old heard the woman calling for help while running to the scene, resulting in a scuffle with the 50-year-old. The two men wounded each other, using objects they used – in some cases, a pastry spatula and a metal pipe.
After the incident, the 50-year-old man was taken to a hospital where he was hospitalized under guard, while police authorities also proceeded to arrest the 29-year-old man.
