The whole “elite” of European basketball – and not only – have already taken their seats at the T-Center to watch tonight’s (24/5) Euroleague grand final between Olympiacos and Real Madrid, which will start at 21:00.
Among the “high” presences that stand out is of course Nikos Galis, who upon entering the stadium wished the “reds” to reach the victory of the precious trophy.
“All of Greece wants a Greek team to lift it. It will be a great game, Olympiacos will have the fans, for me they are also the better team and I believe everything will go well. Yes, they are stronger at the bigs, but in a game you need balance both at the bigs and the shots, but I think Olympiacos has better material,” Galis said.
Of course, Giannis Antetokounmpo could not be absent from the title battle, who arrived at the T-Center with his brother Thanasis, while Kostas has taken his place in the court seats next to Vassilis Spanoulis.
Among those in the stands, Real Madrid president Florentino Pereth, Hapoel Tel Aviv owner Ofer Yanai, Maccabi Tel Aviv strongman Shimon Mizrahi and Italian coach Ettore Messina will be in attendance.

Janai, just before entering the T-Center, described Olympiacos as the absolute favorite: “”If Real win the final it will be a big surprise. They are the biggest underdogs of the last few years and if they do, their… I forgive them for eliminating us.
Olympiacos has a 99.9% chance of getting it. He’s got the fans with him, too. Real are a superpower in Europe. When they lost Garouba in the semi-final, they didn’t go down.”
From the country’s political scene, Greece’s Minister of Shipping and Insular Policy, Vassilis Kikilias, will be present at the final, while Olympiacos basketball team owner Vangelis Marinakis will be next to the team.
