An armed incident was recorded at a central point in the village of Archanes, Heraklion, on Sunday 24-5-2026 at noon.
According to police sources, a man who had earlier argued – at a diner – with another person from the area, returned with a gun and from inside the car he was riding in as a passenger, started shooting.
Although the area was in disarray, fortunately no one was injured, and strong forces immediately began searching for the perpetrator.
