Panathinaikos AKTOR was under pressure against Mykonos for about three quarters, but won (76-90) but still managed to qualify for the Basket League semifinals.

The Greens found it tough in the first half against Mykonos with Briggs, Hesson and Skoulida contributing to the hosts’ offense and the fairly positive three-point and two-point shooting percentages (55 percent) keeping the islanders close (21-19 first quarter).

.
The same pattern continued in the second quarter with the guests not playing good defense and allowing the opponent to stay in the game, with Skoulidas, Moore and Canady also getting into the equation.

The “Trifilli” got serious and qualified for the Basket League semifinals

.
Until the third quarter the picture was the same, with Ataman’s team improved, but Mykonos not letting their opponent get away.

.
However, with Lesor’s dominance in the paint, Shortz and the positive Rogavopoulos and Mitoglou, they managed to improve their percentages, were able to increase their lead and get the win and qualify for the Basket League semifinals.

Dinos Mitoglou (18 points, 9 rebounds) and Nikos Rogavopoulos (16 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists) were the top scorers for Panathinaikos, while Mathias Lesor (18 points) and T.J. Shortz (15 points)
