The fifth and final game will decide the series between Panathinaikos AKTOR and Valencia for the EuroLeague playoffs.

The Greens, who had taken a 2-0 lead in Spain, failed to lock up the qualification at the Telekom Center Athens as Valencia responded with two consecutive wins, winning the fourth game 89-86 to tie the series at 2-2.

The final ticket to the 2026 Final Four will now be decided in Spain, with both teams heading to Game 5.

Panathinaikos struggled offensively in the first half, having a low shooting percentage, especially from behind the 6.75m line, while at the same time conceding several points in the rush.

The visitors started the game strong and led by double digits, but the Greens responded in the second half, finding solutions mainly from Kendrick Nunn, Cedi Osman and Mathias Lesor.

Ergin Ataman’s side managed to get back into the game and temporarily take the lead, but Valencia kept their composure at crucial points and found big shots from their players to hold on for the win.

All will now be decided in game five of the series, which will determine the team that advances to the Final Four of the competition.
