An interview with Happy Day and journalist, Christiana Kohlatzi, was given by Antonis Karpetopoulos.
The well-known sports journalist spoke about the unexpected offer he received from Katerina Kainourgiou’s show to sit on the panel, while he revealed that he has even received threats for some comments he has made in the past on sports issues.
“I’ve had a lot of adventures with my health. Look at me as a good example. Everything is treatable as long as there is early diagnosis and good psychology. I’ve had a thick medical adventure, which went well in the end,” Antonis Karpetopoulos initially confessed.
“Humor is a refuge, it’s a defense. I tell jokes and laugh to myself. Maybe that was the reason why I was offered a breakfast show. Katerina Kainourgiou proposed me to be on her panel but I refused because I didn’t have time. She saw something in me and I appreciated it,” the journalist revealed.
“It’s true that I had gone for coffee and was in danger of burning myself, that is, I almost burned myself. They were having coffee and they had these stoves that cafes use for warmth, which was very powerful. I was wearing a jacket and at one point my friends said there was smoke coming out. I got up, threw it away and the fire went out,” Antonis Karpetopoulos describes elsewhere in the conversation.
