Poseidon Giannopoulos made a statement on Katerina Kainourgiou’s show, in order to comment on what is happening in television this season.

Among the questions he was asked to answer were the changes in the programme of OREN and the return of Nikos Moutsinas, who recently stated that he did not want the TV critics to deal with him.

“Overall I found the changes interesting, I expected there would be changes since there is a new management. I found it interesting that someone would move Real View from evening to midday. Just as long as they find the move interesting themselves and tune into the demands of the midday slot.

The evening is more relaxed, there’s room for a certain amount of free speech, while at noon you have to be a little more square, get into some boxes, think that there’s another age group in the house listening and they’ll do better, hopefully,” comments Poseidon Giannopoulos.

“I don’t think it’s a bad idea to move Thanasis Patras on Sunday night. Going from five hours to three hours and to another zone, in prime time television, which is the evening, is up to an upgrade I would say, not a downgrade. Because you’re going to a bigger audience in terms of the ratings pie, whatever numbers you do and spread out over a three-hour period, which I imagine will change the character of the show, which is to say I imagine they’ll make it a little bit more – unquote – a show for the evening,” he responded immediately afterwards.

When it was pointed out to him that many argue that Thanasis Patra’s new show might be reminiscent of Themos Anastasiades’ “Ola,” Poseidon Giannopoulos responds with a pointed question:

“It’s funny to ridiculous. Because a show like “Ola”, its main element is the personality of the presenter. So without belittling the three faces that make this show, none of the three faces can be compared to the huge personality that this one starred, a Themos Anastasiades.”

Finally, regarding the recent statements of Nikos Moutsinas, who stressed that he does not want the TV critics to deal with the new game show that will soon be aired on Star, Poseidon Giannopoulos “fires” against the host, saying:

“These statements were such a monument to arrogance and arrogance – that is, I remembered that this is something that not even our national star, Aliki Vougiouklaki, Meryl Streep in Hollywood would not have said this – that instead of creating anger, it created sadness. It troubled me. I mean, to say something like that, and with a body language or actually a face language a little bit kind of… it made me reflect.”
