Explosions were heard this morning over Jerusalem, where sirens had been activated after the Israeli army warned of Iran launching missiles in the direction of Israel, according to AFP reporters.

The Israeli army “detected missiles fired by Iran in the direction of the territory of the State of Israel” and anti-aircraft defenses were activated to intercept them, a statement from the Israeli armed forces said.

The majority of missiles fired at Israel in retaliation for Israeli-American strikes launched against Iran on February 28 were intercepted. However, their debris falling to the ground causes daily injuries and property damage. A total of 12 people have died in Israel since the war began.
