Donald Trump asserted yesterday Friday that the Strait of Hormuz will be “fully opened” and “soon enough”, with or without Iran’s cooperation, which has imposed very tight restrictions on this sea route critical to global trade since the US-Israeli war against it was launched on February 28t.
“We will open the Gulf – or the Strait, as they call it – with or without them,” the President of the US said, referring to the Iranians.
“It’s going to happen pretty quickly; if it doesn’t, we’re going to end it one way or another,” Donald Trump added in a sly tone, addressing reporters before boarding the presidential jet to head to Virginia.
The strait “will open automatically” as Iran “will not make money otherwise,” he insisted.
