The Saudi army intercepted seven ballistic missiles fired against the eastern part of the kingdom and their debris fell around energy infrastructure, the defence ministry in Riyadh said in the early hours of this morning.
“Seven ballistic missiles fired against the eastern sector were intercepted and destroyed. Debris from these missiles fell near energy installations. An assessment of the damage is underway,” a ministry spokesman said, according to a statement in Arabic on the institution’s official X account.
