Kuwait said today that an attack launched by Iran hit a power and water desalination plant causing material damage to some parts of the facility, the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy said.
The ministry said emergency response crews and technical crews are responding under emergency plans to continue operations and ensure the safety of the plant.
The ministry said.
In addition, shrapnel from an aerial threat interceptor fell at the Habsan gas facility in Abu Dhabi, causing a temporary shutdown and a fire that emergency crews are working to contain, with no injuries reported, the Abu Dhabi press office said.
