“Massive” attacks with Russian drones and missiles are underway in the Kiev region, the head of the regional military command Mikola Kalachnik warned today, in a new wave of morning attacks against Ukraine, which is usually targeted during the night.

“The Kiev region is once again the target of a major enemy missile and drone attack,” he said, citing at least one death. He called on residents to “go to shelters immediately.”

Russia fired more than 360 drones at Ukraine during a morning offensive on Wednesday. On March 24, it had launched one of its largest daylight attacks against Ukraine since the start of the war in February 2022, using more than 400 drones.
