Austria has denied the US the use of its airspace for military operations against Iran because of its neutrality, the country’s defence ministry said today.
A ministry spokesman confirmed a report by Austrian news agency APA that the US had made “many” requests for overflights, without specifying the number.
Each case is being examined jointly with Austria’s foreign ministry, the publication said.
