In a post on Truth Social, US President Donald Trump announced a major strike against Iran.
The US President, in a hard-hitting post on Friday morning, wrote: “Watch what happens to these paranoid bastards today. They have been killing innocent people around the world for 47 years, and now I, as the 47th President of the United States of America, am killing them. What a great honor it is to do this!”

In the same post, he also attacked the American media, referring specifically to the New York Times.
“We are completely destroying the terrorist regime in Iran, militarily, economically and in every other way, but if you read the failed New York Times, you will mistakenly think we are not winning.
Iran’s navy is gone, its air force is gone, its missiles, drones and everything else have been destroyed and its leaders have disappeared from the face of the earth,” he said.
At the same time, he argued that the US has overwhelming military power, writing: “We have unparalleled firepower, unlimited ammunition and plenty of time.”
