Iranian armed forces today promised “devastating” attacks against the United States and Israel after US President Donald Trump earlier said he would make Iran “go back to the stone age” with massive bombings in the coming weeks.
“With trust in Almighty God, this war will continue until your humiliation, your disgrace, your final repentance and your capitulation,” said Ebrahim Zolfakari, spokesman for the Iranian armed forces’ Central Operations Command Hatam al-Anbiya, in a statement broadcast on state television.
“Expect even more overwhelming, more extensive and more destructive actions,” he added, arguing that US and Israeli assessments of Iran’s military capabilities are “incomplete.”
