In recent days Turkey has been making provocative moves in the Aegean Sea, with violations of national airspace and the Athens FIR.
As reported today, Tuesday (31.03.2026), the General Staff of the National Defence Ministry, a Turkish CN-235 spy plane carried out 6 violations and 1 infringement, while a Turkish unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) made 3 violations.
Turkish aircraft were identified and intercepted by Greek air forces in the northeastern, central and southeastern Aegean Sea.
